Muthaiga Golf Club held a Charity Golf Tournament on Friday 9th September 2022 that attracted golfers and corporate sponsors from various levels in society. The tournament was organized and lead by the Club's Marketing & Communication Committee, with the aim of supporting the Club's communities.
The World Golf Awards has ranked Muthaiga Golf Club as Kenya’s Best Golf Course for 2021. It is a great honor for our club to reclaim the glory of the world’s most acclaimed awards in Golf that recognizes and rewards excellence in Golf Tourism, World-Class Courses, and Golf destinations.
Our leading junior amateur, Taimur Malik won the event with scores of 73, 73, 73, and 65 for a total aggregate score of 284 gross (4 under par). Taimur was the only amateur to make the second round cut in the pro event and trailed by 11 shots on the final day from the leader.
