Launch of the Coaches Conference at Muthaiga Golf Club
As part of the plans to ensure junior golf within the country, the Junior Golf Foundation partnered with U.S. Kids Golf Foundation to train 40 coaches from across the country at Muthaiga Golf Club. The local coaches accessed the 4-day training starting Monday 1st November to 4th November 2021 free of charge courtesy of the Junior Golf Foundation.
The coaches underwent rigorous training with the aim of ensuring that these aspiring coaches achieved Certified Coach Status upon successful completion of the requirements, which includes both the training itself as well as passing online examinations from USKGF and the Positive Coaching Alliance.

All 47 coaches that attended these training are now expected to use the knowledge gained to introduce more young people to the sport as well as develop promising junior golfers into elite players.
